Wired Program - ‘Wandering Into Robotics Education’ is an initiative aimed at teaching robotics to young children from underserved areas. It has been envisioned to empower them with essential skills for the future.
Through engaging and interactive sessions, we aim to inspire a passion for STEM education and equip these children with the tools they need to thrive in the field of technology.
Imagine a world where kids from disadvantaged backgrounds can dream of solutions to global and local challenges using robots as your comrades. Sounds cool, right? That’s exactly what WIRED is all about - providing children with the knowledge, skills, and tools on robotics and STEM education so that they can create, build, and make a positive impact!
Ignite passion in the hearts and minds of the learners and lead them into a world of robotics which would empower them to be future ready!
Unleash the power of innovation & provide opportunities to every child to create a positive impact on our world, one robot at a time!
I enjoy my sessions held under the wired project. It’s fun and rewarding when i am actually able to build something.
Robotics class is the coolest thing ever! I learned so much and had a blast building robots that can do amazing things!
Thanks to the robotics program, I now dream of becoming a future engineer. It's very exciting to learn about technology!
We have developed a nine-module curriculum that teaches the basics of robotics. Project WIRED has been associated with NGOs since 2022 and have been providing STEM education to children through a series of engaging workshops. Students are offered hands-on experience and an up-close look at the mesmerizing world of robotics. Each of these workshops have about 20 children in attendance, and they learn about the diverse functions of robots in the present day and age, the different types of robots, and how they are created. Students are encouraged to create robots that solve a problem statement.
Our founder, Jai Gupta has designed an original robotics curriculum which is suited to the targeted audience whom he would like to empower. The WIRED course explores concepts crucial in robotics education, such as logic design, functional programming, algorithm development, and basic construction principles. Through the detailed modules and thought-provoking nature of the WIRED Curriculum, the aim is to help children innovate.
The ethos behind Wired Program is to first bridge the gap in robotics education for students from underserved communities, and then disseminate information to fledgling robotics enthusiasts. We have also raised funds to ensure that the students are supported in their continuous education!
To this date, the money raised is being used to create robotics kits for Hamari Pahchan, an NGO working with children in New Delhi.
We would love to hear from you – especially if you have ideas on how we can improve the cause. Or tell us if we are going wrong somewhere – we take criticism with a pinch of salt. Please fill up the form to reach out to us or if you would like to contribute by either volunteering to teach / donate a small amount for purchase of a robotic kit.
